Application deadlines and requirements
Feb 2019I'm an American high school student residing in Saudi Arabia. I’d like to study Medicine in the UK but I'm afraid I've already missed the deadlines. Are there any large universities that are still open for fall this year? If so, then what are the requirements?
You need to apply through UCAS and to satisfy all entry requirements. So, you may need to take UKCAT or BMAT. The closing date for medical school applications is generally 15 October. You could look out for Clearing vacancies on UCAS – there are some occasionally – but would have to be quick off the mark. Otherwise it is probably next year.
