What happens on the course?

The course has been ‘designed by firefighters for firefighters with the aim of getting you into a career as an aviation firefighter and to progress within your service to a senior management role.

The International Fire Training Centre has been closely involved with developing the structure and content of the course which also compliments the theoretical and practical application of knowledge and skills on the incident ground and in leadership /command roles.

This degree has been recognised by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), the professional body of the firefighting profession and accredited by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) for the purpose of fully meeting the educational requirements for IFE membership.

The course is delivered through distance learning and will allow you to study at your own pace and around your work. This means the course is accessible wherever you are based as long as you have access to the internet.
