Course summary

Building services engineering, also called engineering services, helps clients develop greener products and technology to solve problems in indoor environments. Engineering services play an integral part in the comfort and sustainability of modern-day living and working. As part of this course, you'll:Build expertise as you analyse mechanical and electrical engineering systems within buildingsUnderstand the techniques behind low-carbon design and renewable energy systemsRefine your skills using industry- standard design and energy analysis software applicationsIdentify the complex needs of diverse clients and unfamiliar environmentsUnderstand the role building services engineering plays in providing efficient and cost-effective solutions to the climate crisisUnderstand the life cycle and performance of buildings and their impact on the wider environment
