Our Business Analytics with Finance Programme is for students who aim to achieve training for making and evaluating data-led business and financial decisions and governments financial policies, and shaping financial strategies. This multidisciplinary programme is recommended for those of you that would like to have cutting-edge skills in data analytics, data science and artificial intelligence tailored to financial applications, for which experiential learning and a guaranteed industry sponsored project are the key learning objectives of our programme.A rigorous teaching approach is chosen to deliver the underlying academic knowledge, which is combined with practical industry-related elements that are essential for enhancing your employment outcomes.The Business Analytics with Finance course provides a solid foundation for those that would like to pursue a career where data-based decision making, technology and analytics skills are essential differentiators. The Finance pathway is targeted towards a career within the fintech sector and the wider financial sector as graduates will gain more finance-specific domain knowledge. Graduates of this pathway are suitable for entering a career in the finance industry (e.g. quantitative trading and analysis), finance function of a private or public institution, regulatory bodies of financial markets or financial consulting. Graduates are equipped with knowledge and skills that will enable to begin a career in the financial sector that requires analytics skills such as auditing/brokerage/consulting/financial/market analyst, but also emerging roles such as personalisation and product development in banking, investment and wealth management.Duration: 4 years with placement
