Events ManagementWe bring studying Events Management to life with inspiring and real experiences, interactive learning, access and exposure to the industry, and an opportunity to develop and manage your own events. You will gain much more than subject knowledge; we will help you develop the extra skills that employers are seeking, and you will leave us with experiences that will give you an edge at interview and in the workplace. We work closely with the Association of Events Management Educators and key industry stakeholders to ensure our course is current and relevant.Volunteering is an important element of your course that will help you to stand out when you enter the industry, and we offer an exciting range of opportunities such as Christmas parades, regional and national sporting events, music festivals and cultural events.Everything you study will prepare you to succeed in your future career. You’ll begin planning and delivering a real event as part of a team in your second year, as well as having the chance to shape your career path through a five-week work placement that suits your personal interests and ambitions. You will also have the chance to undertake an optional year-long placement after your second year, which really brings your course to life and will enhance your graduate employment prospects.
