Take this unique opportunity to study commercial law in two major commercial hubs: London and Singapore. Gain a broad overview of Asian commercial law in Singapore and, through your intensive specialist study in London, an in-depth understanding of commercial law and its application to everyday practice.

Undertake a highly intensive 16-month degree programme where you will gain insight into the legal underpinnings of commerce in the West and East

Gain a greater variety and breadth of experience than a standard one-year programme

Be awarded a Dual LLM in Commercial Law (London and Singapore) from Queen Mary University of London in the UK and Singapore Management University (SMU) in Singapore

What you'll study

This course has a major focus on international and comparative issues, and on the importance of legal principles, rules and laws underlying business and commercial relationships. You will be equipped with a thorough understanding of key aspects of commercial law from multiple perspectives. The programme will allow you to develop an in-depth understanding and explore transnational approaches to resolving commercial problems.

Assessment

You will be assessed by a range of methods combining examinations and coursework which will be fully explained in your student pack available during induction.

For your dissertation, you will undertake more self-directed research and writing work with the support of an allocated supervisor.

This programme will enhance your career options, as you will hold a dual LLM from both Queen Mary and SMU, equipping you to work in the highly sought after interdisciplinary areas of law, economics and finance, with a comprehensive understanding of both UK and Asian law.
