The growth of big data, social computing and the Internet of things are accelerating the demand for high level computing skills. This course offers the opportunity to study both the theory of computation and practical approaches to the design and implementation of systems.The course is based upon the internationally recognised Association of Computing Machinery recommendations for Computer Science curriculum guidelines and equips students with the solid base of computing knowledge required in this fast-moving field.
