Course summary
Legal firms around the world are expanding on an international scale. Join us to experience life in a different country, study law in a different jurisdiction and diversify your legal portfolio beyond the UK. In your first year, you’ll study the core principles of law. We’ll teach you how to read and apply legal documents, such as Acts of Parliament, EU legislation and case reports. Then you’ll have to chance to explore a range of specialist fields. You might look at human rights law, intellectual property or medical negligence.
Law beyond LondonWhat makes this degree different? This four-year programme follows the same structure as our traditional Law LLB. However, you’ll spend an extra year studying abroad. Pick from our prestigious partner universities in Europe. Or go further afield to North America, South America, Asia, Australia, or New Zealand. Your year abroad will give you a chance to explore a different legal system and expand your general legal expertise. Studying abroad also means you’ll benefit from different opportunities to boost your employability like law clinics or participation in societies outside the UK. All of this extra knowledge and experience will help you reach your potential back in London and beyond.
