Course summary
If youre working, or want to work, in residential and community-based health, social care, and related settings, then this Health and Social Care top-up course, based at our Burnley Campus, is for you. It offers an ideal progression from your HND or Foundation Degree (or equivalent Level 5 qualification) in health or social care (or a related subject). Youll develop an awareness of the changing political, philosophical, economic, cultural and social contexts of health and social care services. Youll also be encouraged to look at the current health and social care quality and performance agendas. This course is based at our Burnley Campus in Pennine Lancashire, where youll benefit from small class sizes and a friendly, supportive learning environment. With a BSc in Health and Social Care you can pursue a growing range of non-vocational careers in a variety of health and social care roles both within the state and private sector.
