Early university plans

When my friend and I were about 15, we started planning where we would go to university. We decided on Canterbury Christ Church, primarily because of the location near the sea and we just really wanted those beach days.

My Clearing story

When I got my A level results, I realised they weren't quite good enough to get me into my top choice.

I thought "what could I do?"

And then I remembered back to the pact I made with my friend many years earlier.

I spoke to my Head Teacher, and it turns out that he'd done his Education degree here at Christ Church.

It felt like a bit of a sign. So, I rang up the Clearing hotline and the people were really positive and friendly and they ended up offering me a place!

What do you love about Canterbury?

Canterbury is a great and vibrant student city. But it's also small, safe, and friendly.

Just a 15-minute walk and you can be in the beautiful Kent countryside.

Canterbury is also very close to the coastline where there's a whole host of towns and seaside places for you to explore.

London’s just 50 minutes away on the train for big city life.

It's like at 15 I knew that Canterbury was the place for me. I'm so glad that I finally followed my gut.
