The University of Leicester offers accommodation from as little as £72 per week – including utility bills, insurance and Wi-Fi. It guarantees university-managed accommodation for all first-year students who apply before 1 September of their year of entry. Rooms come with a bed, desk, chair and wardrobe and are self-catered. Each accommodation site has a nearby sports centre, 24-hour reception and security, and residential adviser teams that host regular socials. Accommodation at The City site is a 10-minute walk from the Central campus, while The Village is a 15-minute trip on the university's free shuttle bus, which also stops at the Brookfield campus.
The University of Leicester provides financial support and bursaries to assist students. These include sports, music, and subject-specific scholarships, as well as hardship funds and a care leavers' bursary. In addition, the university offers the Citizens of Change Scholarship, which provides the opportunity to receive up to £15,000. These initiatives are designed to support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
